SHERBURNE – Commerce Chenango has announced the 2010 award recipients who will be honored at the 9th Annual Report to the Membership Luncheon on May 12 at the Fox Run Event Center in Sherburne.

The Volunteer of the Year award is presented to a member who devotes personal time and leadership to advance the mission and strategy of Commerce Chenango through participation in committees, projects and events in the community that benefit others. This year’s recipient, Betsey Baio, NY Pizzeria, has devoted her life to improving the lives of those around her. She has always seen the value of making someone smile, or helping someone in need; stepping up to the plate when necessary, or just being a really great friend.
