COPES CORNERS – Morris held G-MU to just eight points in the first half to establish a 27-8 lead in Monday’s Tri-Valley League victory.

Eric Smith led a balanced Mustangs lineup with 13 points. Defensively, G-MU had multiple turnovers in the first half managing just 10 field goal attempts.

“Morris is certainly one of the best teams in the league,” said G-MU coach Bill Hartman. “They have a number of options offensively. They’re a patient team that shares the ball – they have a nice club over there.”
