Chenango Blues Association hosts free Halloween party

NORWICH – The 17th Chenango Blues Festival was a great success, and that success was rooted in two things: great musical talent and great community support.

“When the Honey Island Swamp Band called and said a national tour was bringing them near New York, an opportunity arose to present one of this year’s best artists and to show the community how much we appreciate all their help,” said Blues Association’s Eileen Andrews. “Their show after the festival this year was the best we’ve ever had, and we’ve had some great ones,” said talent committee member, Greg Grosvenor. “When you have a chance to see a band as good as Honey Island Swamp Band for free you’d be crazy to miss it.”
