PITTSFIELD – Police are searching for the body of a 23-year-old New Berlin man believed to have downed at around 8 p.m. Sunday after the boat he and his girlfriend were in sank during a thunderstorm.
After swimming to shore and not being able to locate her boyfriend, the woman called 911 at 8:32 p.m. to report the incident, according to the New York State Police.
