OXFORD – You’re invited Saturday, March 28, at 7:30 p.m., to join 6 On The Square (6OTS) as wine makers Mark and Sandy Stacey, owners of the Black Bear Winery, are back by popular demand with their unique and flavorful fruit wines, honey meads, and hard ciders. This an evening wine tasting fund raiser for 6 On The Square, Inc. Tickets are $25 per person which covers an assortment of delights (including live music) for the senses.

Experience a truly interesting variety of wines, in a fun and casual, party-like atmosphere. Light education is provided from the Black Bear Winery while sipping on a diversified offering of wines from dry and delicate to dessert-sweet.

Have you ever tasted Black Bear’s Dandelion wine? It’s dry, light and floral. You may favor the red “Ruby,” another dry wine, but a complex combination of cranberry and raspberry. Prefer semi-sweet wines? You’ll get to sample the distinctive Blackberry and “Blushing Goose,” a tart gooseberry wine. Raspberry Melomel is a semi-dry raspberry and honey mead. Cranapple Zip –an apple cider with a tart “zip” of cranberries. On the sweeter side is Sweet Raspberry –a fruity treat and Cracklin’ Maple - a hard apple cider with a nice maple finish. If that’s not enough to pique your curiosity, there’s more!
