SOUTH OTSELIC – Otselic Valley dropped back-to-back games Friday and Saturday falling to S-E at home on Friday, and at Poland Saturday afternoon.

S-E (12-4) had 11 points from Caitylnn Adams and 10 markers from Bridget Irwin. The Marauders led 31-6 at halftime.

“Our guards were the only players that scored,” said OV coach Ron Graham. “They were too big and quick inside, and shut down any inside play.”

Heather Eaton scored 12 points and Melinda Schutt nine for OV – all on three-point shots.

Saturday, Poland defeated the Vikings for the second time in one week’s time. OV made just 1-of-25 shot attempts (4 percent) in the first half, and trailed 23-4.

“It’s an hour and a half bus ride to Poland, and I don’t think we showed up in the first half,” Graham said.

The Vikings play at New York Mills tonight.
