Otselic Valley 78, George Jr. Republic 35

SOUTH OTSELIC – After some early difficulty, Otselic Valley ran away from George Jr. Republic in the second half of Thursday’s non-league matchup.

David Cerasani scored a career-high 32 points, 10 coming in the first quarter to give his team an eight-point lead. “They have some real good athletes, and they gave us problems in the first half,” said OV coach Dave Loomis. “They just didn’t stay with their game. We put up some points in the second half, and their game deteriorated.”

Brad Wentworth added 17 points and 12 rebounds, and Justin Shapley pulled down 10 rebounds. OV (13-2) hosts DeRuyter Tuesday.
