VHCA overcame a nine-point deficit at the end of the first quarter by holding Baldwinsville Christian Academy to 12 points over the final three quarters.

Faith Caster scored 12 in the first quarter for BCA leading her club to a 14-5 lead over the Crusaders. Caster was limited to just four points the rest of the game.

Amanda Evans scored 13 points for VHCA, all coming after a scoreless first period to lead her team to the win. Sarah Miedema added nine points.

Miedema went 12-for-16 from the foul line – a perfect 6-for-6 in the third quarter – and finished with a game-high 22 points in the second of three VHCA wins last week.

Miedema had 10 in the first half and Hannah Miles all six of her points leading the Crusaders to a 23-11 halftime advantage.
