Y holds carnival night Friday

NORWICH – YMCA Executive Director Jamey Mullen doesn’t shy away from a challenge, even if that challenge includes allowing the public to throw pies in his face.

On Friday night, both Mullen and Senior Program Director Tom Revoir will step up to the plate and take one for the team, literally. As part of the YMCA’s monthly Family Fun Night, a Y Carnival will be held on Friday. The event will include games, prizes, carnival snacks and much more.

The Y Carnival will include games like the duck pond, a cookie walk and ‘guess my age.’ In addition, there will be face painting, a hot dog stand and other events for family members of all ages. “Everybody will have the chance to win some prizes,” said Youth and Family Director Bonnie Tiffany.
