B-G 51, Marathon 40

BAINBRIDGE – B-G received the balanced scoring that was absent in a loss to Oneonta on Saturday, and it went on to defeat Marathon in the Kazalski Tournament consolation game Monday.

Dani Conway led with 18 points, Randi Conway scored all 11 of her markers in the first half, and Kimberly Brown added eight of her 12 points in the second half. Shania Vandermark came off the bench for six points and seven rebounds. “We had a lot more balance and a lot of kids chipped in,” said B-G coach Bob Conway. “I thought it would be a real battle, but we got out to a nice lead in the third quarter and put the game away a little bit.”

B-G (4-2) plays at Unatego Jan. 5.
