Monday Evening Musical Club program has Victorian flair

NORWICH – The Monday Evening Musical Club is proud to present Katie Boardman with a program titled “Victorian Proch and Parlor Music” on Monday Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the United Church of Christ, 11 West Main St., Norwich.

Katie Boardman is a specialist in the area of historical music from the time of the American Revolution through the turn of the 19th Century. She is the principal performer, composer and teacher for First Frost Traditions. Since the Bicentennial of the American Revolution and throughout her work with history museums, she has brought to life parlor songs, minstrel show tunes, folk ballads and contemporary family music touring throughout the Northeast.
