Greene 3, Whitney Point 1
WHITNEY POINT – Greene hiked up the intensity in the second half, and pulled away for the win Tuesday against Whitney Point.
Locked in a one-all tie, the Trojans scored two goals over the first 6:09 of the second half. Christine Conroe lifted a reverse-sticked shot into the cage 3 1/2 minutes into the half, and less than three mintues latter, Emily Conroe finished off a tally after a flurry of shots. “In the second half, we’ve just been plugging along, so our focus was to play an intense second half,” said Greene coach Sue Carlin. “We had some great passing combinations and we stayed aggressive, even after we scored those two goals.”
Andrea Day scored in the first half for Greene (9-1).

New York Mills 3, S-E 2
NEW YORK MILLS – A late push over the final 15 minutes was not enough for the Marauders in a defeat at New York Mills Tuesday.
Rachel Seroun and Kayla Sadlah had one goal and one assist leading the host team to a 3-0 lead.
Sam Crandall scored for S-E at 13:09, and although the Marauders kept the pressure on, managed just one more goal. Karli Harris tallied with seven seconds left on the clock. “We played really well most of the time, but we had some mental lapses that cost us goals,” said S-E coach Sheila Cooman. “We really dominated the last 15 minutes, and we definitely did not roll over in this game.”
