Norwich 2, Chenango Valley 1 (OT)

NORWICH – Norwich caught a bit of a break to net the tying goal, and proceeded to notch an overtime goal in prevailing over Chenango Valley Monday night.

Bonnell scored the winner in the second 10-minute overtime taking a pass from Elisha Eddy at the 18-yard line, one-touching the ball, and blasting it past the keeper. “At this point of the season, the girls are playing better,” said Norwich coach Jeremy Bolton, whose club improved to 4-9. “It’s nice to see the wins come, and this was a good, quality win.”
