NORWICH – The Norwich Police Department has arrested a Norwich man for shooting two others following an alcohol fueled argument that took place Friday night in the City of Norwich.
Police accuse Lee M. Bush, 49, of Norwich, of firing his 12-gauge shotgun at two men at 10 p.m. Friday, striking both with numerous pellets from the blast.
Norwich Police Chief Joseph Angelino said the department received reports from neighbors saying they heard the sound of a gunshots on Court Street, near the Henry Street intersection, behind the Howard Johnson’s Hotel. Police said they think the two men were shot in the driveway of Bush’s apartment house at 29 Court St.
