NORWICH – The Chenango Valley Kennel Club will be sponsoring an event this weekend at the Chenango County Fairgrounds. Norwich City Mayor Joseph Maiurano and his dog Riley will open the Responsible Dog Owners’ Fair at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
More than 20 vendors, with both dog and human-related products and services, will be on hand during the fair. Special events, such as a canine good citizen test, an obedience and rally mach, tracking, agility, and police work, will be included throughout the course of the day. An area will be set up where the public can meet dogs of many different breeds.
