Sherburne Lions mark the 4th with Paddleford Park celebration

SHERBURNE – For the past 15 years, the Sherburne Lions Club has been sponsoring an array of activities for the community to enjoy on Independence Day, and with music, games, food and fireworks, this year’s celebration is sure to excite the young and old.

The Lions Club will again hold their all day Fourth of July event at Paddleford Park in Sherburne. The park has seen many renovations over recent years, including the addition of new play ground equipment and improvements to the baseball and softball fields. The pool and playgrounds will be open for those wishing to utilize them.

Entertainment will be provided throughout the day. Live musicians and local DJs will provide music from 11 a.m. until the night concludes with the annual fireworks display. Cassidy Lynn will kick off the entertainment, performing a mix of country western songs. Lynn, a local singer, has opened for acts like Charlie Pride and Trick Pony.
