Commander John Alksnis hosted a dinner June 14 at the American Legion Post 189 on Sheldon Street in Norwich to honor post members of 50 years-plus and past commanders. Commander Alksnis wanted to thank all of these members for their dedication over the years to the Norwich post. Awards were given to the 50-Years-Plus members and to Camille Hyder for her 14 years of service as Adjutant.
