NEW BERLIN – Brett Smith allowed just one run over six innings to give unbeaten Unadilla Valley (3-0) a win over Sidney this week in the Otsenango Pony League.
John Scofied had two hits for UV including a solo homer in the second and three RBI. Smith went 2-for-4 at the plate as did Andrew Delmar and Corin Todd.
Sidney’s pitching was strong over the first three innings giving up just one run. UV opened up the contest plating seven in the fourth.
