NORWICH – Norwich I outslugged its intra-town rival Monday at Norwich High School Field to gain its first win in three starts.
Colby Griffin went 3-for-3 with three runs scored, two RBI, and four stolen bases to pace the winners. Tom Kalicicki added a 3-for-4 day and Jon Foulds finished 2-for-3 with two runs.
Eric Oefelein pitched 3 1-3 innings of relief striking out five to ear the victory.
