“Gas Leasing 101” meeting tonight moved to Greene high school

GREENE – A gas leasing meeting scheduled for 7 tonight at the Baron’s Inn in Greene has been moved to the Greene High School.

“Due to larger than anticipated crowd – 600 to 700 people – we have moved this event to the Greene High School,” located on 40 S Canal St., said co-organizer Bradd Vickers, president of Chenango County Farm Bureau.

The program is sponsored by Farm Bureau and The Greater Greene Chamber of Commerce.

This is an opportunity to learn about natural gas exploration and leasing, said Vickers, adding that the meeting will provide clear, current, and useful information about the gas development process, particularly in the state’s Central and Southern Tier regions.
