COPES CORNERS – Otselic Valley won for the 14th time this season avenging a 17-2 loss to G-MU earlier this season.

“I thought we were playing well and we have improved, but they have really improved,” said G-MU coach Jim Johnson. “They hit the ball right from the start; I was impressed.”

OV (14-5) scored three in the first highlighted by Taylor Duell’s RBI double. Eric Wentworth led the Vikings batmen finishing 3-for-4 with three RBI. Duell, Chris Olin, Brian Graham, and David Cerasani added two hits against the Raiders’ pitching staff.

Olin went the distance for the win allowing four hits, striking out nine, and walking just two.

G-MU (10-6) has a tentative game scheduled with Hancock on Tuesday.
