Unatego 10, Unadilla Valley 2

OTEGO – Unatego scored six runs in the fourth inning, and went on to hand UV its third straight defeat on Tuesday.

Kyle Palmer had an RBI double in the fourth, and Unatego picked up five of its 11 hits during the frame. Tyler Newman led the Spartans with two hits and two RBI. “They bunched their hits together in that inning, and all but one player in their starting lineup had a hit; they hit the ball up and down the lineup,” said UV coach Tom Locke.

Jake Curtis was 3-for-3 on the UV side, and Mike Bluy smacked a solo homer in the seventh.

Otselic Valley 11, Stockbridge Valley 5

SOUTH OTSELIC – Otselic Valley combined timely hitting with SV’s ill-timed wildness in Tuesday’s victories.

OV put together a four-run second and a five-run fifthframe to gain command of the contest. Chase Marsten had two RBI for the Vikings and Eric Wentworth was the lone OV player with two hits. Brian Graham logged seven innings picking up the victory. “We were just fortunate to bunch our hits together with their seven walks,” said OV coach Dave Loomis.
