Oxford business owner accused of harassment

OXFORD – The owner of a new Oxford business was arrested Monday on charges of sexual harassment and forcible touching.

Dave C. Clark, 42, the owner of the Oxford eatery Donut World, was arrested by Oxford Police on Monday after allegedly sexually harassing a female employee. The arrest came after a month-long investigation into complaints filed against Clark. According to Oxford Police Chief Richard Nolan, one employee alleged that Clark had subjected her to forcible touching during her employment. A younger female employee also complained about Clark’s behavior, although she did not report being the target of his advances, Nolan said. “An eighteen-year-old female employee did have the same complaints about his behavior, but nothing was done to the younger female,” Nolan explained. Both the employees quit their jobs during the same time period.
