ONEONTA – Oneonta State sophomore women’s basketball player, Sara Chrystie (Oxford), was named this was as the school’s Winter Chancellor Scholar-Athlete winner by the State University of New York Athletic Conference.
Chrystie is coming off a season in which she started all 29 of her team’s games helping the Red Dragons to a 20-9 overall record. She led the team in scoring at 10.8 points per game, while also leading in total assists (129) and steals (57). Chrystie added 135 rebounds, among the best on the team.
