Madison 47, Otselic Valley 39
SOUTH OTSELIC – Otselic Valley cut a 14-point Madison lead to five in the fourth, but missed four straight foul shots to squash any further comeback in Thursday’s home defeat.
Heather Eaton led the OV rally hitting back-to-back three-pointers to finish with 13 points. Amber Wood also had 13 points for the Vikes. “We missed a tremendous amount of easy shots, and our foul shooting killed us,” said Vikings coach Kevin Springer. “We picked up the tempo, forced turnovers, and made a nice run, but we struggled big time throughout the game doing any scoring.”
