NORWICH – A new business has opened in Norwich which can always guarantee that its customers leave happier than when they arrived.
Face the Day Esthetiques Day Spa is in the high-demand business of relaxation and stress relief.
“I just like it when people can relax. If they can just slow down for half an hour and relax it can take a lot off their shoulders, not just while they’re here, but long after they leave,” said owner Melissa Ann Kocak.
The small business is run solely by Kocak and can be found at The Eaton Center, on the Conkey Ave. side in Suite 302.
Kocak adorns her spa with soft music, warm aromas and says she takes the lead from her customers.
“When my customers come in, my job is to put them at ease. So it’s important to be attentive. If they want some casual conversation, I’ll take part, but sometimes people just want complete silence and that’s fine too,” she said.
Kocak is licensed by the state as an esthetician and is also a certified skin care professional. She participates in an ongoing educational program that continues her training by requiring two classes every year.
