COVENTRY – A 17-year-old junior from the Greene Central School District was pronounced dead at the scene early Sunday morning following a one-car crash.
Kyle T. Petkash, 17, Coventry, was killed when the vehicle he was driving, a Chrysler Concord, left the roadway Sunday morning.
The Chenango County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded to the accident along Spisak Road in the Town of Coventry at 4:20 a.m. and the Chenango County Medical Examiner’s Office pronounced Petkash dead at the scene.
“He apparently lost control of his car while negotiating a curve,” said Lt. James E. Lloyd of the Sheriff’s Office.
