NEW BERLIN – Having won all of its league games by 20 points or more, Walton survived a scare at Unadilla Valley Thursday night.

The Storm had possession of the ball with 49 seconds left and the score tied at 39-39, but turned the ball over on offense. Walton’s Brad Hodges converted a layup at the other end, and Patrick O’Brien hit two free throws late to wrap up the victory.

“It was a good game all the way through, and we played with a lot of passion,” said UV coach Matt Osborne. “We just didn’t execute the little things at the end.”
