NORWICH – Haddad Construction won for the second time this week in the Norwich YMCA Men’s Corporate Basketball League defeating Norwich Dodge, 53-33 Thursday.

After a sluggish first half in which it put up just 16 points and trailed by three to the Car Dealers, Haddad was ignited by a trio of three balls from Matt Osborne, nine points from Pete Kasmarcik, and eight points from John Haddad over the final 20 minutes to pull away for the victory.

Pat Sayles and Jeff Newton scored seven points each to lead Norwich Dodge.

Leigh Baldwin & Associates 60, Manpower/Evening Sun 44

Defending CBL champion Leigh Baldwin & Associates rode the hot second-half shooting of Pat Flanagan and the strong inside play of Tim Mirabito to dominate the second half and beat Manpower/Evening Sun.

Leading 27-26 at the break, Flanagan hit for 11 second-half points and Mirabito also netted 11 on his way to a game-high 22 points. Josh Morris added 15 for the winners and Flanagan scored 13.

Brandon Foulds led M/ES with 12 points and Andy Altamura chipped in with 10.
