Tyrrell completes competitive one year business school

NORWICH – A local entrepreneur has just successfully completed a special intensive one-year course from a national school based near the capital.

Managing owner of the “Automotive Giant,” Smith Ford LLC, 175 East Main St., Norwich, Will Tyrrell successfully completed a one-year course from the National Auto Dealer Association.

“It would have taken five or ten years of active experience to learn what we did in a single year,” said Tyrrell.

The program includes six weeks of classes and 40 to 70 hour projects regularly scheduled about every two months.

“It was extremely challenging; a lot of work. It teaches you how to run a business, any business,” said Tyrrell.
