Palace Theater Showcases Local Talent This Weekend

HAMILTON – The Earlville Opera House is pleased to be showcasing some of the best young talent in the region at its Youth Showcase of Singer-Songwriters at 8 p.m. Friday at the Palace Theater in Hamilton.  The showcase is sponsored by Orbital Sound who will be donating the grand prize of a professional four-song recording demo package valued at over $500.  Big Apple Music is also sponsoring the showcase with three gift certificates of $100, $75, and $50 values. 

Hear original songs by these featured artists:

Merrill Amos is 18 years old and is from Cazenovia.  She is a self-taught guitarist who has been playing for 5 years. She is currently a freshman at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva. 

Ryder Bunting of Erieville is also 18 years old and he is a freshman at Onondaga Community College.  Ryder will be on guitar and joined by Ryan Crouch also on guitar.

Zachary Collins of Hubbardsville is 21.  Zach writes songs for his band Same Blood Folk who will be performing the songs with him in the showcase.  Same Blood Folk includes Jenny Collins on bass and vocals and James White on percussion.
