Published: September 28th, 2007

ERLVILLE – The Earlville Opera House will host “A Tribute to Hank Williams, Sr., & Patsy Cline” at 7 p.m. Saturday. Created and performed by recording artists Ron & Nancy OneSong, the live production presents a musical overview of the careers of country legends Hank Williams, Sr., known as the “Hillbilly Shakespeare”, and Patsy Cline, who is credited with forever changing the role of women in the music industry.

Ron & Nancy OneSong specialize in traditional American music, including country, bluegrass, western and gospel.  They have appeared nationally and internationally at festivals, special events and on live radio broadcasts, and they host regular music shows and barn dances at their home venue, the Medina Stone Farm.  Ron & Nancy have recorded five all-acoustic albums, and were inducted into the New York State Country Music Association Hall of Honors in 2003.  An autobiography of their music career, “Stories of OneSong”, was published earlier this summer. The OneSong’s appear with Gene Hilts on Steel Guitar and Judy Shunk on Doghouse Bass.
