Sue Palmer of Hamilton secured the top prize in The Evening Sun Football Contest with an entry that was two better than any other submission this past week.

It was indeed a tough week of games to call with the majority of the 91 entries missing at least eight of 20 games. Palmer finished with a sterling 17-for-20 week to outdistance James Shaheen of Sherburne and Andy Bevilacqua, who each had 15 correct picks.
