Colorscape: Music to the ears

NORWICH – Downtown will be bursting with sound this weekend as the 13th annual Colorscape Chenango festival gets underway.

Live performances by roughly 13 groups and individual artists will be heard throughout the weekend. The entertainment will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday on the NBT main stage in West Side Park with Ron Palmer and Mark Sherwood.

Taking the take at 11 a.m., will be Kevin McKrell and The Hard Road Ceilidh. At noon, Pat Wictor with Cheryl Prashker will entertain followed by Red Molly at 1 p.m., Jeremy Kittle and The World Band at 2 p.m., Fetish Lane at 3 p.m., Ellis Paul at 4 p.m., and finishing off the day of entertainment will be John and Mary (of 10,000 Maniacs) with the Valkyries.



Spanning throughout the weekend in the East Park on the children’s stage Ellis Paul and SONiA will perform and as tradition has it, Nathan Brown World Music Percussion Workshops will be offered to children of all ages throughout the day. The schedule for the children’s stage are subject to change without notice. Also in the children’s area for all the aspiring artists there will be children’s talent shows offered for all ages.
