SHERBURNE – The public is invited to a rally sponsored by the Stop www.evesun.com/topics/news/NYRI/">NYRI citizens group from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the village park in Sherburne, marking one year of oppostition to NYRI’s plan to run a 400,000 volt power line through Chenango area communities, and highlighting the recently announced threat of NYRI being part of a federally designated National Interest Energy Transmission Corridor (NIETC).
