‘Little Shop of Horrors’ brings blood-sucking plant to Norwich stage

NORWICH – A giant, blood-sucking plant might not be the cup of tea for children under five, but Norwich High School Musical Club Director Mark Sands hopes everyone else will turn out for one of three performances of “Little Shop of Horrors” later this month.

“We have changed some of the language to make it suitable for families, but due to the morbid subject matter, it may not be recommended for children under 4 or 5 years of age,” he said in a recent press release.

Performances of the late 1980s era Broadway smash hit are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 30 and Saturday, March 31 and at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 1 at the Norwich High School Auditorium, Midland Drive, Norwich. General admission tickets for $5 are available at First Edition Book Store, The Coffee Connection and Service Pharmacy, Norwich. Tickets will also be available at the door prior to each performance.
