Jeffrey’s 25th year at Pennysaver an antlered anniversary

Some employees receive a gold watch or other such gift from their employer on their 25th Anniversary. But when Diane Jeffrey marked her 25th year with Snyder Communications' Pennysaver Group in October, she got something special from her employer – a caribou hunt. Diane and her husband Mark are avid hunters and outdoors people. Diane took a buck during this year's archery season, then another during the regular season. She also bagged a turkey gobbler this fall.

Their adventure began when they booked their late November Quebec caribou hunt with Bob Halbritter at the Syracuse Sportsmen's Show. “We were concerned that all the hunts would be booked for this year," Diane says, "so we felt fortunate to be able to go this soon.”" The dates for their hunt were November 27-30, and the hunting would be done in the caribou's traditional southern wintering area, which is accessible by vehicle. So the Jeffreys flew to Quebec, courtesy of Snyder Communications, and began their trek to find caribou.
