NORWICH – The Norwich High School Bands, Choirs and Orchestra will hold their annual Winter Concert this Thursday beginning at 7 p.m. Each ensemble will offer short performances featuring a variety of pieces, including seasonal selections to celebrate this special time of year. The groups are under the direction of Mary Mayo, Mark Sands and Don Burke.
A special treat: Appearing at the concert is guest narrator Gerard O’Sullivan, Noriwch City Schools superintendent. O’Sullivan will recite “’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” the renowned poem by Clement C. Moore. This famous work will also feature accompaniment from the combined concert and symphonic bands.
