Suspects sought in home invasions

SHERBURNE – The Chenango County Sheriff’s Department is looking for two men wanted for breaking into a residence in the Town of Sherburne and assaulting a woman residing there. The attack happened Monday at around 11:30 p.m., when two suspects entered the home through physical force.

The men are described as follows: The first suspect, pictured in the sketch, is a white male, approximately 30 years of age, 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a stocky build. He has dark hair and was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap.



The second suspect is described as being a white male about 25 years old and 5 feet, 8 inches tall. He also had dark hair and was wearing a dark baseball cap.

The suspects left the scene, possibly in a vehicle with a loud exhaust. Deputies say the suspects approached from the direction of the Village of Sherburne and left in the same direction.
