Libous encourages municipal cooperation

CHENANGO COUNTY About 30 town, city and village highway workers gathered at the Chenango County Department of Transportation in Norwich Tuesday to see New York State Sen. Thomas W. Libous present a check for $225,000.

Standing in front of examples of the equipment to be purhcased, Sen. Libous - who is chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee - said he was following-up on a meeting he had with highway superintendents here six months ago.
