Cyclones sweep Utica Proctor North

NORWICH – The Cyclones’ "C" team downed the Utica Raiders 20-0 Sunday at Alumni Field in a three-game sweep for Norwich.

Michael Sutton had a field day opening Cyclones’ scoring the first play of the second quarter on a 7-yard sweep for a touchdown and adding the point after touchdown (P.A.T.).



Sutton connected on a 20-yard TD pass to Jordan Lockwood, also in the 2nd, and added the P.A.T. Jaden McCrabie added a 5-yard TD jaunt in the 3rd.

Michael Oralls led the defense with many tackles and three sacks. Brooke Bonney continued her solid defense with a blocked punt and numerous tackles. Matt Murray, Devean Crandall, Dane Jeffrey, and John Marvin played solid defense also. The Cyclones’ blue defense has played stiff defense in each of its first three games.
