NORWICH – The Body Works, a tanning and alternative fitness salon at the Eaton Center, has re-opened under new owners and under a fitting new name, The New Body Works. A grand opening will be held from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, and 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday. There will be door prizes, refreshments and discounts for all who attend.
“Our goal is to get 100 new customers in three months,” said co-owner Paul Utter.
The new venture is run by first-time business owners Utter and Linda Jones. Both live locally in the Town of Norwich and have been close friends for years.
“We are always looking for an opportunity,” said Utter. “We looked at several possible businesses.”
The New Body Works will operate in its previous location on the first floor of the Eaton Center in downtown Norwich.
