OXFORD – Oxford is showing no ill effects of losing its career scoring leader to graduation.
Sophomore Jenna Farwell had her second two-goal game as the Blackhawks rolled to their second straight shutout victory. “We played really well and just missed on a number of other great scoring opportunities,” said Oxford coach Jenny Davis.
Christi Baker opened the scoring just 1:43 into play, and Farwell added her first goal with 7:16 remaining in the half. Tori Lints and Vanessa Pierson added second-half goals.
Oxford hosts Greene Thursday at 7 p.m.
