Hamilton gears up for summer music series

HAMILTON – Six bands, six weeks, and many hours of melodious fun. July 13 through Aug. 17, the Earlville Opera house is thrilled to co-present with the Village of Hamilton six Thursday night concerts on the Hamilton Village Green.

Hamilton local, Chris White, opens the series on July 13th with his light-hearted musical blend of jazz, folk, and comedy. Winner of the Young Musician’s Contest at the Hamilton Music Mix in 2004, Chris’s music is honest and witty.  He has written over two hundred songs and is both an accomplished singer and a talented guitarist, capable of playing in a variety of different styles.  Chris White is most well known for his one-man shows, and it is difficult to imagine a solo act creating more entertainment with just one man and a guitar.  As one of the funniest emerging folk artists of our time, Chris White will deliver an evening packed with humor, insight and melody.
