SHERBURNE - Sherburne-Earlville seniors Ashlee Lathrop and Adriane Marcellus won medals at the New York State Division II track and field state championships last weekend. Lathrop, left, finished second in the discus shattering the school and league records in the process. Her toss of 134-4 was just two inches shy of the Section III record. Lathrop added a third-place finish in the federation meet. At right, Marcellus, her school’s record-holder in every distance from 200 to 1500 meters, placed fourth overall in the 800 meters.
