Giving kids something to do

CHENANGO COUNTY – With temperatures up into the 90’s in May, it doesn’t look like this summer will be short of hot weather, and according to local recreational directors, it won’t be short of things to do, either.



Chenango County Youth Bureau Director Kathy Clemens says that almost every municipality in the county, either individually or as part of a joint effort, offers a summer youth program, with many that include morning and afternoon playground sessions, swim lessons, athletic programs, and day trips; all free of charge.
