NHS principal resigns

NORWICH - After serving as Norwich High School principal for the past five years, Jack Ross has decided to say goodbye to the district, Superintendent Gerard O’Sullivan said.

Ross’ decision was made last week, and will be effective June 30.

“We have a great opportunity to define a new chapter in the high school and move that program forward,” O’Sullivan said. “There is a huge sense of optimism in the students and faculty.”

Ross was “reassigned” from the high school to the Eaton Center administrative offices in February for undisclosed reasons. He was still made responsible for his administrative duties, and continued to act as building principal from the new location.
