MCDONOUGH — Aunt Mary's House will be celebrating Mother's Day from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, May 11, at Miles of Love Venue, located at 963 County Road 8, McDonough.

The Mother’s Day event, Hopeful Hearts-A Brunch for Change, has a goal to raise $15,000 to furnish Aunt Mary's House and make sure it's warm and welcoming to the women they will be supporting.

Aunt Mary's House Director Brenda White said there are a few tickets left and can be reserved by emailing executivedirector@auntmaryshouse.net. Tickets are $30.

White said the venue is being donated by Lori Olsen, owner of Miles of Love. Live Event NY will be there to provide entertainment for all ages.

She said there will be a silent auction with over 50 items donated from local businesses, restaurants, and community members and items range in value from $25 gift cards to $1,500 for the use of the Miles of Love Venue.
